Tele Law Consultation

Tele Law is a Government of India programme that connects citizens with registered lawyers for free legal consultation through video/phone calls. It is specifically designed to help people who cannot afford a lawyer. We connect you to the Tele Law service from our CSC centre — especially helpful for women, senior citizens, and economically weaker sections.

We connect you to a registered lawyer via video or phone call at the scheduled time. The consultation is in your preferred language.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Tele Law truly free?
Yes. The legal consultation itself is completely free under the government Tele Law programme. NammaDocs charges only a Rs 50 service charge for booking and facilitating the session. There are no hidden charges from the lawyer.
What types of legal issues does Tele Law cover?
Tele Law covers a wide range of legal matters — property disputes, family law (divorce, custody, maintenance), consumer complaints, labour issues, land disputes, criminal matters, housing, and more. It is pre-litigation advice — helping you understand your rights and options before going to court.
Who is eligible for Tele Law?
Tele Law is specifically designed for marginalised communities — SC/ST, women, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and economically weaker sections. However, any citizen can use the service. NammaDocs helps you access it without navigating the government portal yourself.
Can the Tele Law lawyer file a case on my behalf?
Tele Law provides pre-litigation advice only — the lawyer guides you on legal options and next steps. For filing a case in court, you would need to engage a lawyer separately. If you qualify for legal aid, the lawyer can guide you to DLSA (District Legal Services Authority) for free representation.
